The Premier League need to consult the players and the fans in relation to their plan to stage an 'international' round of matches, according to David Beckham.
The LA Galaxy player was speaking as he prepares for his second MLS season in America.

Beckham said: "Of course the Premier League is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, league in the world.
"But they really have to be careful with this because there are so many games, so much football, in the Premier League already.
"It has to be looked at long and hard.
"Many people have to be asked for their opinions, like the players and the fans.
"Ask the fans, ask the players and go from there."
Beckham isn't the first person to cast doubt on the proposed move by the Premier League, but according to reports this morning in the Daily Express the former Manchester United player has added to his voice to the growing cast of dissenters.
