I believe that I deserve to be Fan Of The Month not due to the many posters of David that I have in my room(I only have one on my wall) or because I go to all of his games but because I' ve developed a special relationship with him despite him being so far from me.
Like many others, I try to buy all the magazines about him, have tons of his posters well saved in my closet and I would never miss one of his games shown on tv. I've also bought t-shirts with him on and my mum says I have the hots for him and that it has become an obsession but I don't think so.
I mean who would argue on his good looks, but what about those killer free kicks or the crosses he does?! I also try to keep up with the news that have to do with David and believe me, that's not easy when living in a place far from him.
One of the things I' ve done once and that really show how much I admire him was when Manchester United came to my country for a champions league game but in another city and I practically begged my father to go.
It was an amazing experience although Beckham was not in the squad and I was really disappointed because I was that close to getting my dream come true!
Last but not least, it may sound weird, but I think I have grown an instinct about him. I can sense if he is fine or not, and when I'm going to learn some news about him. We also have one thing in common, other than loving football so much, we both love to draw cartoons.
All things considered, I think I' m a pretty good fan of Becks.
