I think I have the right to become the fan of the month. Because of many many reasons that are count less.
First of all, I really, really admire David Beckham. Not just his looks, his soccer style, but what affected me most was his personality and smile.
I try my best to get all and any information of Him when I can, though my parents are totally against it. I learn english for David Beckham, I am full Japanese and am at the age of 12, but see how I've progressed! Because of my love for David Beckham, I've progressed sooooo well in just an year! I never went to learn english at a english school, nor have I had any teachers to teach me, but only read books at night.
I've only known David Beckham since last year's world cup. But before that, I hated soccer and I hated soccer players! What could change that? I was never once, was attracted to any other soccer player playing anywhere! But, when I turned on the TV last year at the world cup(not exactly wanting to watch the world cup), the first thing I saw was Him, David Beckham. And the moment he smiled, I thought, ' Was I blind this whole time? Why havn't I known of such beauty of soccer and the players of soccer?'. I was stunned, and from that moment on, I was totally a different
person.
I suddenly got into soccer, and David Beckham, going everywhere to tell people that I like soccer now! Just because of turning on that TV at that exact time! What if I turned on the TV one seconed late? I would've missed the smile of David Beckham and would not be typing this now.
I would like all the people, who don't like or even worse hate David Beckham, to, just give it a try. Just this once. You'll like Him!!! Unless your heart is TOO hardend!!!
